Sewing is becoming a lost art, however, it is easy to accomplish. Sewing by hand or machine can be as simple as counting from 1 to 10. People often pay others to sew or replace a button. A hem could cost $12 or more. Think about the purchase price of a garment plus alteration fees. I have made a dress for less than $12.
In this class you will learn to sew a button, hem pants, or take in side seams on a dress. All these tasks can be done in less than 20 minutes and save you time and money.
Sewing is easy, fun, creative, and sometimes therapeutic. The feelings of accomplishment is wonderful too.
At each class, there will be demonstrations of basic sewing instructions and various techniques by video. You will also learn to do body measurements, select pattern sizes, do buttons and hems and more.
